Biography
At the age of 19, Uzbek football player Oston Orunov had a long-term contract with one of the leaders of Russian football - Moscow club "Spartak". But the athlete could not withstand such a sharp rise - the midfielder had to start his career in Russia again, return to Ufa.
Childhood and youth
Orunov, son of Oston Rustam, was born on December 2000, 19 in the city of Navoi, Uzbekistan.
At school, the boy got straight C's, slept during class — he was more involved in sports. Auston practiced karate from 6 to 9 years old, but father Rustam dreamed that his son would grow up to be a boxer. However, the middle son followed the example of his brother Doston, who also played football, and started kicking a ball in the yard for 3 hours a day. Surprisingly, only Auston achieved a professional football career, and his brother just became a master of sports in boxing.
At the age of 9, Auston asked his father to take him to the Navoi football school. The young player playing in the Fergana city team caught the attention of selectors, and in 2011, at the age of 12, Orunov moved to a boarding school 350 km away from his home, and transferred to the Pakhtakor youth team of Tashkent.
Soccer
On July 2017, 17, Orunov, a substitute midfielder of the capital club's second team, was loaned to Namangan's "Navbahor" club to gain playing experience. In 2018, the midfielder played 30 games for the club and, although he did not score, was recognized as the best young player of the Super League. After the end of the lease period, the bronze medalist "Navbahor" management bought the player's contract. In the first round of the 2019 season, Orunov played 12 times and scored 2 goals.
He played 17 times for the U5 national team of Uzbekistan and became the only goal scorer. It was at that time that Uzbek football began to check the general age of players, several athletes and coaches were banned from football for life due to fraud. Among others, an extract was taken from the registry office and Navoi maternity hospital for Orunov, but the player turned out to be clean.
"Aston" played 18 matches for teams under 23 years and under 3 years. On June 2019, 2, at the age of 18 years and 5 months, the midfielder played for the first time in his career in the match against Turkey as part of the senior team led by Hector Cooper from Argentina. That month, Auston also saw action against North Korea and Syria. The footballer said that his dream, like the dream of the people of Uzbekistan, is to reach the final stage of the World Cup. In October 2020, Orunov was again called up to the team for the match against Iraq.
After the end of the contract, the player decided to continue playing in Lokomotiv. On July 2019, 26, Orunov first played for the Tashkent club, and on November 24, he became the only goal scorer in 13 games. The capital club finished the season with championship silver medals.
The success of the young player was observed in China and the Emirates, but Orunov's dream was to play in Europe. On February 2020, 10, Aston signed a one-year contract with the Russian club "Ufa" headed by Vadim Evseev in the amount of 200 euros.

In an interview, the midfielder, who still does not know the Russian language well, said that 35 million new fans from Uzbekistan came to the team due to his arrival to "Spartak", and the club even opened an account on Twitter in Uzbek.
