What is mastopathy in infants?
👶The cause of mastopathy in newborns is the transfer of estrogen from the mother to the baby during pregnancy.
As a result, the breasts become larger in babies. Occasionally redness, swelling may also be observed.
❗️It is not possible to squeeze it, if the process continues for a long time the child will be disturbed or the baby may develop mastitis as a result of the addition of a secondary infection.
⭕️Mastopathy does not need to be treated in 3 - 4 days. Only by following the rules of personal hygiene should the baby’s breast area be kept clean.
✅ If the condition does not improve, take the child to a pediatrician or pediatric surgeon!
