Car engine oil

It is difficult to imagine internal combustion engines without oil. Engine oil contains various additives that perform important functions such as reducing friction, preventing wear, and keeping the engine clean. Over time, these additives break down and lose their effectiveness, especially if the oil has expired.

Depending on how big or small the size of the car engine is, the amount of oil required will also change. If the number of cylinders is not 4, but 6 or 8, for example, a truck or a sports car, then due to the large number of moving parts, more oil is consumed.

Below are the volumes of motor oil that go into cars produced by GM:
Spark: 3.75 liters with and without oil filter, 3.5 liters without oil filter
Gentra: 3.75L with filter
Cobalt: 3.75L with filter, 3.5L without filter
Nexia 3: 3.75L with filter, 3.5L without filter. Nexia 3, gentra, cobalt have the same engines)))
Damas/labo: 2.7L with filter
Onix: 4.0L with filter
Tracker 2: 4.0L with filter. Tracker 2 and Onix turbine motors are also the same))
Malibu: 2.0L with filter for 4.7L engine, 1,5L for 4,0L engine
Malibu XL: 2.0L with filter for 5.0L

P.S. When you go to the service center to change the car oil, be sure to ask the master to change the oil filter as well. Some masters don't even do that.
