Are fish oil capsules useless?

In 2006, the results of 89 scientific studies were published, in which it was stated that fish oil-containing capsules were of no benefit.
In 2012, the Journal of the American Medical Association published the results of more than 68,680 studies conducted among 20 patients, according to which regular capsule drinking did not reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

There are two reasons for this:
1. A very small amount of fish oil is added to the capsule.
2. The fish oil in the capsule oxidizes and loses its quality.

A group of New Zealand scientists studied fish oil capsules sold around the world and concluded that "the fish oil in the capsule oxidizes even if it is not expired and the quality deteriorates, resulting in a useless product."

Imagine for a second it takes an average of 3 years for the caught fish to be taken, prepared, processed and sold in stores and pharmacies. Of course, this can lead to oxidation or deterioration over time.

If you don’t like to eat fish, you can take fish oil preservative capsules, provided that it is produced under a well-known brand and is derived from cod liver oil.
