How is syphilis transmitted?

Syphilis is the most dangerous infectious disease. There are several ways of infection that can be transmitted very easily. In medical statistics, the lesion is transmitted through sexual contact in 95% of cases and through daily contact or contaminated blood in 5% of cases. It can also be transmitted from mother to child through the placenta and as a result of blood transfusions. Injury is transmitted in the first stage only through infected blood.

Infection through sexual contact is observed when an infected person uses something immediately after another healthy person uses it, since the infection does not live long outside the human body and dies quickly.
