Itsenko-Kushing syndrome

It is 3-4 times more common in women than in men and is associated with dangerous arterial hypertension in 80-90% of cases. In 1/3 of patients, the disease is associated with primary adenoma (or carcinoma) of the adrenal cortex. Occasionally, it is observed in patients receiving long-term glucocorticoids.

Clinical signs:
◾️Arterial hypertension;
◾️ Simultaneous development of obesity and hyperglycemia;
◾️Steroid diabetes mellitus;
◾️The face is red and moonlit;
◾️Enlargement of the chest, neck, abdomen with thin legs;
◾️Dark-purple borders on the abdomen, thighs, shoulder girdle - the appearance of bleeding under the skin;
◾️teleangioectasia (mainly on the recording surface of the wrist);
◾️Disorders of sexual activity;
◾️hair loss;
◾️pathological tumors;
◾️Dry skin, sadness, nail dystrophy;
◾️Diffuse osteoporosis
