Milia is caused by excessive secretion of sebaceous glands under the influence of maternal hormones in newborns and obstruction of the sebaceous glands. In most cases, it accumulates in the wings of the nose, chin, forehead and chin. In rare cases, it covers the entire body. Above the surface of the skin there are nodules of 1-2 mm in size, filled with sebaceous glands. It is observed in 50 percent of infants.
