Caring for a newborn baby in the heat of summer

A baby born in the summer is more difficult to care for than a baby born in the winter. If the only problem in the winter is that the baby is not cold, in the summer special care is required for the chilly baby.
1. Breastfeed when the baby asks. On a hot day, babies also want to breastfeed often because they are thirsty. It is not necessary to give water to a baby who is not breastfeeding for five to six months.
2. If the house temperature is too high, turn on the air conditioner, not the fan.
3. The air conditioner should be turned on during the day without turning off, and should maintain a certain temperature in the room. When turned on and off, it is easy for the child to sweat and catch a cold.
4. Rinse the baby in warm water at least 2 times a day.
5. The child's bed sheet must be made of cotton fiber.
6. Do not take the child outside in hot weather.
If the baby has not urinated for 3 hours, he may be dehydrated. This condition requires immediate medical attention.
7. Do not leave the child in the hot machine for even 1 minute.
8. Reduce clothing as much as possible or do not wear it at all.
9. On a hot day, the baby's skin heats up quickly due to the soles. Lay the child without a mat for as long as possible during the day.
10. If a baby is crying on a hot day, breastfeeding is more likely to be thirsty.
