How many non-governmental higher education organizations are there in Uzbekistan?
At the press conference held with the participation of officials of the State Inspection of Education Quality Control in AOKA, information was given about the work carried out to increase the importance of non-governmental educational organizations and ensure the quality of education in them.
Today, the number of non-governmental educational organizations is 5678. Among them:
on preschool education - 2189;
for general secondary education - 300;
on higher education services - 42;
623 on extracurricular education;
853 licenses were issued for personnel retraining and improvement of their qualifications.
During the past period of 2022, 8 non-governmental higher education organizations were granted licenses. It is aimed to increase the number of non-state higher education organizations to at least 2026 by 50, in particular, to establish at least 2022 non-state higher education organization in Navoi, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya regions and Tashkent city in 1.
