Path to the US High Schools: An opportunity for school and college/high school students to continue their education in US schools!
"Path to the US High Schools" - Grantlar.uz is a program organized by the project for the purpose of providing practical assistance to the youth of Uzbekistan, as well as those from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan who can communicate in Uzbek language, in applying for/continuing their studies in US schools and in winning grants.
In this program September 2022 depending on the situation, students studying in the 9th and 10th grade of the school or the 1st year of the lyceum/college can participate. Program training in Uzbek and English is carried out. Program sessions are conducted online (via Zoom and/or Telegram meetings).
Program options:
  • Those admitted to the program are taught all the processes leading up to the application and acceptance to American schools in September-October;
  • Direct assistance in preparation of documents will be provided. It ensures that you submit your application and documents without errors, correctly and successfully.
  • Program participants are individually coached to pass the American School Interview.
  • You will be able to ask and get answers to any questions you may have at any time during the entire process, from application to acceptance and grant award.
Requirements and Conditions:
Apply for and participate in the Path to the US High Schools program absolutely free. Program participants who meet the requirements and successfully pass the admissions process become finalists (i.e., receive the opportunity to participate in the program). Each participant can apply once a year. Candidates who submit two or more applications will be excluded from the program.
Candidates applying for the program must meet the following requirements:
  • Candidate must be in 2022th or 9th grade of school or 10st year of high school/college as of September 1. That is, students who graduated from the 2022th or 8th grade in May 9 can apply.
  • The candidate's English language level should be at least "Intermediate" and should be at the "Upper-Intermediate" level before the start of the program (September-October). Candidates below Intermediate are not eligible to be finalists in the program.
  • Candidate must have good or excellent grades.
The process of admission to the program is carried out in 3 stages.
Step 1: online questionnaire and essay. To the program From June 2022 to July 10, 20 at 23:00 p.m. documents can be submitted. In the application form, the candidate will have to enter personal information, upload grades, write an essay and upload parental permission.
The information to be entered and the essay must be in English. The number of characters in the essay should not exceed 1000 characters. Grades are given in the language of the educational institution. Parental permission can be submitted in Uzbek, English or Russian.
In the parental permission, the full name of the giving father or mother, the full name of the child, the permission of the child to participate in this program should be indicated and confirmed with a signature and date (this document should be written on paper and a photo or scanned copy of it should be uploaded to the application form). .

Step 2: English proficiency test. Participants who passed to the second stage will take the Efset test to determine their level of English. This stage takes place in late July and early August. Participants whose English level is not lower than "Intermediate" will go to the next, that is, the last stage. The results of the 2nd stage will be announced by August 15.
Step 3: Interview. The interview stage will be held on August 17-25. An interview with the candidate will take place on the Zoom platform. During the interview, the candidate will be asked various questions. Successful participants will be contacted by program coordinators, emailed, and finalists will begin classes on September 10. Finalists will be announced by August 31.
To the program at most 15 people a finalist will be selected. There is also a Waitlist. For "Waitlist". 3 people candidate will be selected. If one of the finalists fails to participate for any reason or violates the rules of the program at or before the start of the program, they will be automatically removed from the "Path to the US High Schools Program" and replaced by a candidate on the "Waitlist".
