EDUCATION IN AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITIES

The main difference in studying in Australia and other Western countries is the huge difference in these financial opportunities. Studying at universities in Australia, for example, is much cheaper than at universities in the UK or the United States, and this is not only because of the difference in exchange rates, but also because education itself is cheaper. Although the cost of tuition in Australia has risen, it is very small.
The training system is based on a five-day work week, with classes not held on Saturdays. But even free hours can appear during the week, and they spend an average of 12 hours a week studying the topic in detail, plus this time is spent on lectures and seminars, independent study time, and the library. It also includes the time to be transferred. In Australia, a student has the opportunity to choose a schedule that is convenient for him. You can do this online at the beginning of the semester. During the semester, the student does not master more than four subjects, sometimes only three subjects are available. Lectures and master classes are held on each topic, which is very similar to the Uzbek education system, their duration is approximately the same.
As mentioned above, the student chooses a course schedule for himself and can adjust it in such a way that it is not necessary to visit the university every day. In Australia, students are not divided into groups and are not taught individually. When attending different classes, the student will always be with different students. However, in Australia it is common to implement different projects in groups, where the student works in different groups for each project. It provides a good ability to work in different teams and develops communication skills.
In Australian universities, teachers can only give lectures or only hold seminars, in addition, elementary students are allowed to conduct seminars. Lectures are given only by experienced professionals, usually those with extensive experience in the field in which they teach. The examination process in Australia is very different from that in Uzbekistan. It is carried out by private companies and the commission includes people experienced in this matter. Examinations are held in special centers attended by students from different universities. At the same time, such centers conduct various exams and the number of students is in the thousands. The exam itself is conducted in writing, but it is not enough to know the theory alone, the student must be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Students will be given practical questions to solve. If a student did not attend classes or rarely attended, there is no way to do so.
Re-taking the exam is more complicated: if a student fails the exam the first time, he or she may not have a second chance. Sometimes such an opportunity is given if it is less than 10%. If a student receives a low percentage on the exam, he or she will have to pay for that course again (or choose an alternative course) and retake it. The grade for the test is set as a percentage, you must get at least fifty percent to pass. Graduation stages of academic performance are available as a percentage.
