Italian schools

Italy's general secondary education system consists of three stages:

After graduating from high school, a student takes a written exam in arithmetic and a foreign language, and an oral exam in other subjects.

By obtaining a certificate, schools, applicants can go to various educational institutions that are part of the higher secondary school system. These are vocational schools (technical institutes, technical schools, art schools) and lyceums. They study there from 14 to 19 years old.
