The last week of pregnancy

If dehydration is observed in the last week of pregnancy, it means that there is less time left for childbirth. If the labor does not begin 3 hours after the water is gone, the doctor will have to artificially induce it. In most cases, the baby is born using an unplanned cesarean section.

In premature pregnancies, doctors use waiting tactics. In this case, the fetus is protected from dehydration with medication, and the expectant mother is under medical supervision in bed. Also, the genitals are cleaned with antiseptic to protect them from various diseases.
