Types of notebook video cards, have you seen it yourself?

Notebook video card (video chip, video core, video module) can be in 3 different views:

1. Built-in (Integrated) video card. This type of video card will be installed in the notebook processor or chipset. It is not possible to replace it, only by completely replacing the chipset or processor. Usually such a video card is very weak, can be used for office work, work on the Internet.

2. Discrete (separate) video card. This type of video card will be connected to a separate board, a separate chip will respond to the video. Such video cards will have their own memory. It can be replaced, but the board must be carefully fastened. Mainly used for games, graphic editing.
There is also a type of connection without discrete video cards, in which a separate board is connected to the notebook board and used to connect a video card to this board (similar to RAM).

3. Hybrid video card (Integrated + discrete). In this case, there will be a video card, both mounted on the processor and in the form of a separate chip. Depending on the task at hand, the video card may work interchangeably (automatic). This is very handy for notebooks because you can save battery by using a simple video card for simple tasks.

Choosing the type of video card in notebooks will lead to a significant change in the overall price.
