Is it necessary to abstain from a menstruating woman?
- In some nations, there is an absolute abstinence from menstruating women, that is, men separate their beds and do not eat together. What is the reason for this?
Indeed, such cases are common in some lands. However, in our countries, men are required to pay more attention to their menstruating women and be more benevolent, based on the following views:
It is not in vain that the verse "Menstruation is impure" is mentioned in the Qur'an. It is also natural for women to have a bad odor during this period.
Women are prone to depression. It is not uncommon for them to be left alone at this time, to sleep in a separate bed.
Physical weakness is also observed in a woman who is losing blood.
Menstruating girls (especially teenagers) are more likely to be emotionally depressed. Therefore, wise mothers should understand that at this age there is a tendency to "disorder" and pay special attention to the upbringing of adolescent girls.
But sexual intercourse is strictly forbidden at this time.
Short-term menstruation
- I only menstruate one day. Is it a disease?
- In our sect, the minimum period of menstruation is three days, and the longest period is ten days, and this opinion is undoubtedly specific to most women. However, the occurrence of women who menstruate for one day, even if very rarely, or conversely for a long period of up to fifteen days, is medically normal. More specifically, women who menstruate for an average of three to five days make up the majority. It should be noted that most women clearly know the term "habit". If this period is prolonged, it is a symptom of pain and requires treatment. Some men do not prevent the onset of sexual intercourse by acting as a "faqih" on their own, even if the woman's "habit" is overdue and the bleeding does not stop. This is extremely dangerous from a medical point of view.
Menstrual hygiene
- Unfortunately, many women do not realize that the menstrual cycle is a cleansing event - ghusl. Are there any risks in the body of a woman who has not performed ghusl that will cause illness for her husband?
- After the menstrual process, perfect purification, that is, according to our people, the importance of ghusl from a medical and hygienic point of view is unique.
So far, bathing prevents the following threats:
Only in the process of perfect purification does a woman who performs ghusl become convinced that she is completely free from blood and impurities.
The menstrual odor in a woman also allows it to disappear, and the woman feels as if she has been adorned for her husband.
If a woman did not have inflammatory diseases, and if the vagina was rinsed (that is, injected) in addition to the ghusl, she would be completely free of germs that interfere with the health of the earth.
