Information about the Turkish TV series: actors and roles

The Courtyard Series is a dramatic story about a woman who first falls into a women’s prison and has to live in this closed world with its own laws and regulations. But the woman is more concerned with her daughter, who is left outside the prison walls.

The Hovli (Turkish: Avlu) series started on March 2018, 29 and consisted of 11 episodes. Due to the high ratings, it was extended to Season 2.

Actors and actresses

• Deniz Demir - The role is played by Demet Evgar. It is this hero who falls into the women's colony. She feels innocent because she says she tried to protect herself from her abusive husband. The court will have a different opinion.
• Azra Kaya - The role is played by actress Ceren Moray. She’s a little crazy, but a smart girl. One of the leaders in prison.

The series began as follows:
Deniz is a beautiful, kind and smart girl. While studying at university, the young musician fell in love with Hakan. The two youngsters later get married. After a while, a girl - Edgem - was born in their family. But for Deniz, family happiness and a fabulous life come to an end quickly. His wife turns out to be a tyrant. Deniz will have to endure his beatings and insults.

But just as everything has a limit, one day Edgem shoots his father in order to protect his mother. Deniz pleads guilty, but the court does not rule in his favor. Now she falls into a women’s prison. It is necessary to get acquainted with the further course of events through direct observation.
