Baghdad district was established on September 1926, 29. On December 1962, 24, it was annexed to Uchkoprik district and reorganized on December 1964, 31. The district is located in the central region of Fergana region, 333,3 km. sq. occupies an area. The population is more than 218 thousand. The total length of its borders: 98,1 km.
