Today, August 14, is the day of the establishment of the island of Bahrain.
Bahrain is a country located in the Middle East. In the northwest of the Persian Gulf, it borders Saudi Arabia and a number of countries across the Gulf. It consists of 33 islands.
Among them, the largest is the island of Bahrain, which is connected to the Arabian Peninsula by a narrow strait about 25 km long.
Bahrain Island is 25 km long and 16 km wide.
Limestone is common in the soil layer. A large part of the territory is occupied by slums.
