Seed selection. Sown cucumber seeds should be clean, highly germinating, disease-free, medium-sized, whole (unbroken), heavy, undamaged. The seeds are cleaned of seeds and mixtures of other plants. The seeds are soaked in warm water for 1-2 hours before sowing

Land preparation. Initially, the area is qualitatively cleared of past crop residues and weeds. 1 kg (200 tons per 10 sots) of rotten manure is poured on 2 hectare of land. Along with rotten manure, 1% of phosphorus and 75% of potassium are given to 75 hectare of land. This corresponds to 1,6 kg of ammophos and 1,2 kg of potassium chloride. The soil is loosened to a depth of 20-25 cm by mixing with rotten manure and mineral fertilizers. Sowing time and scheme. Tomorrow's cucumbers will be planted in the open in the southern regions on April 1–10, in the central regions on April 10–20, in the northern regions on April 20–30; In the medium term, cucumbers will be planted in the southern regions on April 20-May 5, in the central regions on May 1-10, in the north on May 1-15, in the south on July 10-20, in the central regions on June 15-30, and in the northern regions on May 15-25. During the growing season, after every two or three waterings, the row spacing is loosened to a depth of 15–16 cm.

Fertilization. Cucumbers in 1 hectare are fed with 5,8 kg of ammonium sulfate, 2,2 kg of ammophos, 1,5 kg of potassium chloride fertilizers. In terms of water demand, cucumber ranks first among vegetable crops. Cucumbers require a lot of water, especially during the period of ripening and fruiting. During the growing season, early cucumbers are watered 14–15 times, evening cucumbers 10–11 times in deep soils, and 8–9 times in shallow areas.

Disease and pest control. Cucumber seeds are sown dry in early spring. If the soil is well warmed, the seeds are soaked in water for a day before sowing. It is recommended to disinfect the seeds by spraying 1 kg of seeds with the drug (2% 34% Vitavaks, 1,5% 60,7% Previkur).

Cucumber pests include canes, flies, aphids, thrips, aphids. During the growing season of the plant, apply 10% Applovud n twice a day for 20 days before harvesting the cannabis on 25 acres of land. cook. (50 g) or Mospilan 20% n. cook. (25–30 g) is sprinkled.
