The first country to disappear due to global warming

Global warming, which is causing rapid melting of glaciers and rising sea levels, will soon lead to the extinction of several countries in the islands. According to reports, global warming could soon wipe out three countries - Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Marshall Islands. All of these countries are located in the Pacific Ocean.

Peleniza Alofa, coordinator of the Global Network of Environmental NGOs, who attended the UN summit in Glasgow, said the island nation was currently facing tropical storms. In addition to damaging agriculture, they are destroying homes and endangering people's lives.
Speaking at the UN Climate Change Summit in Glasgow, Kiribati President Anote Tong stressed the dangers of global warming.
