Do graduates of chemistry and biology, computer science and information technology with "red" enter the master's degree without an exam?
✅ ANSWER: Yes, they are accepted on a fee-for-service basis without exams.
About this Khushnudbek Khudoiberdiyev explained.
President No. PQ-2020 of 12 August 4805 decision Graduates of universities with honors in chemistry and biology will be admitted to master's programs on a fee-for-service basis without additional examinations.
President No. PQ-2020 of October 6, 4851 decision Graduates of universities with preferential diplomas in computer science and information technology will be admitted to these universities on a fee-for-service basis without entrance exams.
Due to the questions from students, we contacted the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Abdukadir Tashkulov to clarify the issue and received an explanation.
So, these benefits will be implemented from this year. The procedure is as follows:
1️⃣ Students with a preferential diploma in chemistry and biology, computer science and information technology apply to the relevant specialty of the master's degree of the university they graduated from;
2️⃣ then they enter the exam in the prescribed order. Because the above benefits only allow you to study on a fee-for-service basis. However, the same applicant may enter the state grant on his own. It would therefore be illogical to deprive him of such an opportunity;
3️⃣ The applicant's exam result is considered. If he is on a state grant, he will study on the basis of a state grant and will not automatically apply for the privilege established by the Presidential decree. Even if he enters a paid contract or fails the exam in general, by the decision of the State Admission Commission, he is admitted to the master's degree on a paid contract, that is, he is given a privilege.
PS: Now while writing this information, I was thinking of something else, when this privilege is applied, will the applicant be accepted within the quota or with an additional quota? The presidential decree does not mention additional quotas, which means that they will most likely be accepted within the quota. We will try to clarify this issue again.
