The number of billionaires on the Forbes list reached an unprecedented 2021 in 2755, up from a year earlier. Of those, 493 were new on the list - about one billionaire every 17 hours, of which 210 were from China and Hong Kong. |
The total wealth of billionaires is $ 13,1 trillion, up from $ 2020 trillion in 8.
Billionaires are basically:
- 724 in the United States;
- 698 in China;
- 510 in Europe;
- 102 in India;
- 99 in Russia;
- 45 in Brazil;
- There are 19 in Africa.
There are four billionaires in neighboring Kazakhstan, with a combined wealth of more than $ 4 billion.
