Today, December 5, is the International Day of Volunteers
According to the resolution adopted by the 1985th session of the UN General Assembly on December 17, 40, December 5 was declared International Volunteer Day.
According to this resolution, the UN member states are recommended to widely celebrate this day, to support the service of volunteers who have voluntarily started work for social and economic development, and to help expand their ranks.
