🔸 In 1988, in order to call the world community to awareness, to increase the level of awareness of the population about acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), as well as to provide medical, material and psychological support to people suffering from this disease, the World Health Organization annually December 1 has been declared World AIDS Day.
