The largest spruce in the world
• The world's largest Christmas tree was officially lit in Gubbio, Italy. The display is large enough to cover 450 football fields, 750 meters wide and 30 meters long, along the slope of Mount Ingino.
• It consists of 7,5 kilometers of electric cables and 700 lights.
• The Gubbio Christmas Tree has been an annual spectacle since 1981. It was included in the Guinness Book of Records in 1991. More than three decades later, no other contender has emerged to replace it.
