The smallest city in the world.

Located in Croatia, Hum is the smallest city in the world with a population of more than 30 people. Despite the lack of regular bus service, the city is popular with tourists. It is described as an open-air museum. The city has many stone houses and two streets, each one meter wide.

During World War I, the city had a population of about 450. Each resident has his or her own responsibilities: mayor, police officer, judge, postman, firefighter, and doctor. People rent accommodation to travelers. Among the attractions of Hum are ancient cemeteries and temples.
