Umbilical hernia in infants.

Umbilical hernia is a subcutaneous rupture of the umbilical cord or bowel from an incomplete umbilical cord due to the development of disorders of the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall and intervertebral adhesions. The umbilical cord, i.e. the hernia gate, comes in different sizes. In some children it is equal to the diameter of the thumb or index finger, while in others it is 3-4 cm and is in the form of a hernia product of different sizes, respectively. Usually it is possible to easily drop this product into the abdomen through our fingers when the child is calm
