Vesiculopustulosis in infants

It is a local infectious disease of the skin, based on inflammation of the sweat glands.

Pathogens:

-staphylococci
-streptococci
- klebsiella
-Candida albicans

Occurs from 5-7 days of life in healthy children. Postpartum infection is a signal for injury.

The rash first appears as a blister that holds a colorless fluid inside, and then turns into a pustule (pus). After 2–3 days, the pustule ruptures and a crust is formed.

A pediatrician or dermatologist examination should be performed.

The skin can be wiped several times a day with a solution of furacillin.
