Is it legal not to hire because of a conviction?

"Most of us want to get a job in a prestigious place, but we hear that your father is convicted, so we won't hire you." Is this legal? 🧐

- According to Article 78 of the Labor Code, if you have a previous conviction (there are some exceptions),

- Or if one of your close relatives says you have been convicted and you are not hired, it is considered an illegal refusal to hire.
