Why is diesel used less than gasoline?
This can be expressed through many factors. First of all, Diesel is used in large machinery. Among them are excavators, cranes, trucks, buses, bulldozers. The reason why is that conventional diesel engines provide high torque (pulling power) and fuel efficiency for transporting heavy loads and covering long distances, making them the preferred choice for the transport and logistics sectors.
It is known that there are cars that run on diesel, but they are not widespread in our conditions. The following reasons reduce the demand for diesel.
-The fact that the cars produced in Uzbekistan are adapted only for gasoline, and this tradition has been formed since the Soviet Union, and gasoline-based engines are relatively cheap.
— Fuel infrastructure. If there are many gas stations in the regions, this means that gasoline is popular.
In countries such as Argentina, India, South Africa, France, Italy, diesel is more popular because it is based on simple South African agriculture, in Argentina to reduce the cost of long-distance travel and to save fuel, and in Italy, diesel is used for small or commercial vehicles. this type of fuel was used for the period of adaptation.
