Why does the child sleep with his mouth open?
The main reason for this is that the child cannot breathe completely through the nose and is forced to breathe through the mouth.
If the baby breathes as above from birth, then there is some congenital anomaly in his upper respiratory tract. The ENT doctor will diagnose and correct the problem.
If the child is healthy but suddenly becomes accustomed to breathing through the mouth in his sleep, then it is advisable to clear the child's nasal passages, nasal passages and instill the necessary nasal drops.
