Here are 10 things to do after installing Windows
There are things that, if you don’t do these things after Windows is installed, will affect your workflow later. So, these things are:
1. Give the computer name and username, as much as possible in Latin (English). Some programs do not work with a Cyrillic username (for example, Oracle DB).
2. Activate the Windows system.
3. If you work on a local network, configure the Windows firewall, if you do not know how to configure it, turn it off, otherwise it will bother you a lot. Disable firewall for Windows 10:
Start → Control Panel → Windows Firewall

6. Set the day, time and time zone correctly. The time zone for Uzbekistan is UTC + 5.

8. Check the operation of the devices one by one: Audio output, video display, Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth module performance, all peripheral devices you have (printer, scanner, microphone, etc.) should be checked.
9. Set how long it takes you to go to sleep (sleep mode) when you are not using the computer. Setting sleep mode for Windows 10:

10. Restart the computer (reboot) and check that the software is working properly, booting well.
