Is microwaved food harmful?
The mechanism of operation of the microwave oven is that electromagnetic radiation energy is converted into heat energy in the product.
Microwaves affect the water molecules in any food and cause them to vibrate. Vibrations cause heat generation from the internal friction of molecules.
There are no significant changes in the product itself, so food heated in a microwave oven is not harmful!
