The great scholar, mujaddid, mufassir, muhaddith, faqih, thinker, murshid, ascetic Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf was a great representative of the Islamic world in his time, a great man, a People's Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Central Asian and Kazakh Muslim Religious Board. He was a former mufti, the first mufti of independent Uzbekistan, a member of many international scientific institutions, religious organizations, a religious leader of the Uzbek-speaking peoples.

Student period:
Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf graduated from high school in the village of Bulakbashi in 1969 and in 1970 entered the Mir Arab Madrasa in Bukhara. At that time, studying at a madrassa was 7 years old. Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq was promoted to the 5th stage at once on the basis of the knowledge he had acquired up to that day. As a result, he graduated from the madrasa in 3 years. He was called a "leader" by the students of the madrasa because of his progress in science.
Muhammad Yusuf, the teacher, also did his best to ensure that his son had a good education and was pious. He even accompanied his son through others. Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq entered the Tashkent Islamic Institute (Oliy Ma'had) named after Imam Bukhari from the madrasah in 1973. Muhammad Sodiq, who passed the entrance exam with high marks, was also admitted to the institute at the same time in the 3rd stage and graduated with honors in 2 years.
He began his career in 1975 with the magazine Muslims of the Soviet East.
In 1976, under the auspices of the Religious Board of Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, he entered the dorulfunun "Faculty of Islamic Da'wah" in Tripoli, Libya.
Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq has emerged in Libya as one of the most diligent and talented students among students from all over the world. He graduated with honors from the Libyan University in 1980 with the highest score, won first place among students, and was awarded a scholarship by his pharmacist.

Job responsibilities:
After graduating in 1980 and returning to Uzbekistan from Libya, Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf held the following positions.
In 1981, a teacher at the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari:
1982 - Deputy Rector of the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari;
In 1984 he worked as the rector of the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam Bukhari.
From 1981 to 1989, he taught tafsir, hadith, the Qur'an and aqeedah at the institute.
On February 1989, 6, he became the Mufti of the Religious Board of Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan;
In December 1989 he was elected People's Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR;

Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf conducted a wide range of scientific activities in his country from 2001 to 2015. Under his leadership, a purely Islamic page in Uzbek was launched on the international Internet for the first time. This islam.uz site is the most active and most visited page in Uzbek language. On the basis of the portal Islam.uz more than twenty independent pages in various directions have been created, each of which has become the richest and most active site in its subject. He is the founder of the Golden Series, a translation of nine collections of hadiths, and a major Islamic encyclopedia.
