Essay on the epic of Rustamkhan

Plan:

1. History of Rustamkhan
2. Description of the protagonist
3. Images in the epic
1. Rustamkhan is a work of Uzbek heroic romantic epics. It was created in the 15th and 16th centuries. It consists of 5 epics ("Murodkhan", "Rustamkhan", "Sultankhan", "Oftob pari", "Rustam's wound") based on an epic plot based on a certain idea and reality. They are united around the homeland of the protagonist Rustamkhan and his relatives (mother Hurayim, wife Oftoboy, father Sultankhan, grandfather Murodkhan). In Rustamkhan's epics the ideas of patriotism were put forward, courage, true love and justice were glorified. "Murodkhan" (1928) and "Rustamkhan" (1937) were written and published by Fozil Yuldash's son (1965). Rustamkhan also has versions written by such poets as Mallaboy Hoshimov, Melash Irmatov, Olim Hakkulov. They are kept in the folklore archive of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
2. The protagonist of the epic, Rustam, grew up strong, brave and courageous. In the course of the story, Rustam's fearlessness and courage, as well as his true human qualities, can be seen. Rustam did not panic when his compatriots slandered his mother and tried to hang her. After rescuing his mother from the hands of the executioners, he set out on a journey, saying, "The way of the lost is the way," and settled down on Mount Hukumu and began to make a living by hunting.
One day, Rustam sees a happy girl tied to a grass and finds out that she is standing to feed the dragon. Upon hearing the news, Rustam goes to war with the dragon. Oftoboy begs and tries to get Rustam back from his covenant, but the brave Rustam says: He fights the dragon bravely, defeats him and saves the girl from death. The land of Bujul, freed from the tyranny of the dragon, raised Rustam to the throne and married Oftoboyim. Having chosen a free and simple way of life, Rustam relinquished the kingdom three days later, took his beloved son and returned to his mother. Thus, in the epic, the image of Rustam is portrayed as a simple, courageous and fearless, physically strong man, a loving child and a loyal companion.
3. The epic also features a number of female characters. In particular, the images of Hurayim and Oftoboyim stand out. Their qualities of beauty, wisdom, devotion and kindness are convincingly described in the course of the epic. In particular, Oftoboy is an incomparably beautiful girl. Rustam, who saw him for the first time, addresses him as follows:
Angelic picture, charming with a flower face,
Anyone who sees you will be unstable.
You have more than a month and a day
What did he do to you?
The sun has the same intelligence and ingenuity as this beauty. These qualities are also seen when the Sultan repents of his deeds and comes in the form of a dervish to apologize to his son and wife. Oftoboy is portrayed in the epic as a wise bride, a beloved companion.
One of the main characters in the epic is Hurayim. Hurayim gave Sultankhan a son, but in return he suffered a lot. He will not give up, even when his countrymen expel him, when death casts a shadow, or when he lives in hardship in another country. His good character and wisdom helped him to get rid of all troubles. When Rustam tried to kill Sultankhan, who had come as a dervish, with a sword, it became clear that Hurayim was a thoughtful woman, a wise mother, and a forgiving companion:
"My child!" Said Rustamday, dying.
- He repented and came looking for himself, 26
What happened to you, boy?
Anyway, lamb, don't be arrogant,
"Rustam ran away from his father," he said
Don't say that, lamb.
In the epic, Sultankhan is described as a weak-willed man, a king, who makes decisions without thinking and trusts others. During the events of the saga, Sultankhan made many mistakes. Momogul was deceived by the Maston conspiracy, separated from her family, wife and children, and sentenced to live without them. At the end of the story, Sultankhan realizes his mistakes and apologizes to his wife and son. He rebuilds his family and begins to correct his mistakes. He punishes the wicked
