For some, winter is the happiest time of the year, while for others, it is the most “unpleasant” time of the year. It all depends on how you look at it - some people like a landscape covered with frost, fluffy snow and snow, someone sees only mud and cold in winter. Interestingly, almost half of the world’s population has never seen real snow in their lifetime.

Winter - in our country it is December, January and February, while in the southern hemisphere - June, July and August. The astronomical winter lasts from December 21 to March 21. Climatic winter comes when the average daily temperature drops below zero degrees.

If we have winter - December, January and February, then the southern hemisphere is the opposite. There comes a calendar winter when we have a hot summer. This is true for Australia, New Zealand, Africa and South America.
