Postpartum depression

- characterized by mental illness, mood swings, apathy and loss of interest. Depending on the symptoms: - Mild depressive episode - no external symptoms, but severe for the woman - Moderate - there are visible symptoms in the mental state (passivity, not talking much, loss of interest ) - Severe depressive episode - aggravated nervousness or agitation.

Psychological - Birth is perceived as stress Biological - hormonal changes Symptoms: - Loss of mood - Rapid movement, lack of clarity in movement - Rapid fatigue - Feeling guilty for no reason - Difficulty in decision making - Decreased attention - Constant anxiety from the child - Feelings of loneliness, weakness in child care - Indifference to the child - Sleep disorders - Decreased appetite - Suicidal thoughts.

◀ ️DIAGNOSTICS:

By a psychologist, a general examination, anamnesis, and examination of complaints.

◀ ️TREATMENT:

- Antidepressants - Neuroleptics - Tranquilizers - Psychotherapy

◀ ️COMPOSITIONS:

- Exacerbation of depression - Suicidal states - Social cases - family divorce, child rejection.

◀ ️PROPHYLAXIS:

- Timely detection and treatment - Pregnancy planning, preparation for childbirth - Psychological assistance in pregnancy.
