What is a favicon?
️ Favicons are URL, link, website or web page icons. If you visit a site, the top tab will have the name and icon of that site (Figure 1).
🧑💻 Favicons are attached to the site by web developers, and then the site icons are visible in browsers.
🥇 The first favicons were used in Microsoft's Internet Explorer in 1999.
✅ If you need a site favicon, you can get it like this:
1️⃣ Enter any site. For example: www.google.com
2️⃣ Add the word /favicon.ico to the site address and press Enter (https://www.google.com/favicon.ico)
⬇️ Then save the resulting image.
