Why is appendicitis dangerous?
?Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix. If appendicitis is not removed or if you take analgesics without consulting a doctor, it can burst.
?As a result, bacteria and pus accumulated in the appendix enter the abdominal cavity and cause inflammation of its mucous membrane.
?This condition is called peritonitis, and it is very life-threatening because it often leads to blood poisoning, or sepsis.
