Alexey Nikolayevich Tolstoy - Russian writer, public figure (1939). First collection - "Lyrics" (1907). The publishing collection "Strange People" (1911) and the novel "The Lame Rich" (1912) depicted the life of nobles. There are science fiction novels "Aelita" (1922-23) and "The Miracle of Engineer Garin" (1925-27). The trilogy "Wandering - Wandering" ("Sisters", 1922; "The Eighteenth Year", 1927-28; "Cloudy Morning", 1924-41) is about Russian intellectuals. The historical novel "Peter the Great" (1st book, 1929-30; 2nd book, 1933-34; 3rd book is unfinished) reflects the socio-historical events of the time of Peter I.
