- Dizziness can also be a symptom of serious diseases - it is a symptom of diseases ranging from arrhythmias and strokes to cancer. It is therefore important to distinguish the types of dizziness.
For example, frequent and prolonged dizziness occur in more serious diseases of the ear (viral infections of the vestibular nerve, labyrinthitis). Such dizziness should not be ignored.
Because in this case, the disease begins without symptoms, the risk of infection passing to the brain is high.
