January 7 — the day of the invention of photography

Louis Jacques Daguerre was a talented artist and master of colorful panoramas.

Beginning in 1824, he commissioned an excellent camera obscura and conducted many experiments.

Continuing the experiments and improving the method he discovered, Daguerre achieved stable and good results for that period two years later. Then the famous French physicist, academician François Arago gave information about his method.

The scientist praised Daguerre's discovery and described it in detail at a special meeting of the French Academy of Sciences on January 1839, 7.

January 1839, 7 is the day photography was invented. This is how one of the great inventions of the 19th century was born.
