Negative habits in a child 16+

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

One of the surest ways to protect children from negative habits is to monitor regularly and be a positive role model. The role of adults is to guide children’s relationships. It is important to form an elementary communication culture that helps the child build relationships with peers:

- Negotiation without shouting and arguing;

—Gently ask;

—If necessary, hand over the task and wait;

—Share toys;

—Speak calmly;

- Do not stop the game with noisy interference.

During this period, children should be able to show support and attention to their peers, kindness, caring, and so on. Such forms of communication make it easier for the child, if supported by an adult, to observe how he or she interacts with his or her playmates, relatives, and the people around him or her. Under the guidance of adults, children will experience positive communication.

To prevent your child from developing negative habits:

- Failure to resolve family disputes in front of your child;

- Not to be indifferent to even the slightest negative trait of behavior;

- Pay attention to the age of the events witnessed and told by the child;

- Not to discriminate against children among strangers and peers;

- You should not deny that you want to talk about simple or important issues.

The development of cultural and hygienic skills involves many tasks and it is recommended to use a number of pedagogical methods, taking into account the age of children, to successfully solve them:

- Direct training;

- Regularly remind children of the need to follow the rules of hygiene during demonstrations, didactic games.

It is also important to get children to perform the actions clearly and precisely, in the correct sequence.
