What is the amount of zakat, almsgiving and fidya in Uzbekistan for 2024?
For the month of Ramadan, the amount of zakat on the value of gold was set at 40 million soums. Anyone who has 40 million soums or more of money or trade goods of this value, in addition to his basic needs, will give one fortieth (2,5 percent) of the total amount to the beneficiaries with the intention of zakat.
The amount of Fitr charity is determined as follows:
— 14 soums for wheat;
— 20 soums for barley;
— 110 soums for raisins;
- 180 soums for dates.
Everyone will be able to give Sadaqah al-Fitr from any of these four items according to their ability.
