Moral aspects of Confucian teachings

In Confucianism, the main moral law, the main moral concept is gen (humanity). In the book "Lun Yui" ("Proverbs") it is said: "Whoever sincerely tries to love a person, he does not do evil", "do not see what you do not see worthy of others, then both in the state and in the family ``You don't feel bad about yourself.'' So gen is a moral principle that determines the relationship between both society and family members. The concepts of "xiao" - respect for parents and elders, "li" - respect for traditions and rituals are strongly connected with it. At the moment, the meaning of the concept of "li" is quite broad, it also includes the attitude towards the state. Khakan (emperor) is the son of Heaven, he is the father of all under Heaven. The order under the sky is as follows: "King should be king, father should be father, servant should be servant, son should be son."
