On this date of 1943, the highest scientific institution of our country - Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan was established.
Despite the fact that the Second World War was at its peak, this higher academic organization uniting the most powerful scientists and scientific institutions of our country, under the leadership of mathematician Tashmuhammad Qori-Niyazi, started its activity in Tashkent.
