In the national emblem of India - four lions are drawn. Every year on August 15, India celebrates its biggest holiday - Independence Day - this day marks the day in India's history that it became an independent country after breaking away from Great Britain.

Independence Day has been celebrated since 1947. On this day, August 1947, 15, the Act of Independence of India was enacted. (Indian Independence Act) and the tricolor national flag of independence was raised over the wall of the Red Fort of Dehi city.
