IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN A LEGAL MARRIAGE TO GET ALIMENT?

⚡️Question;
My husband and I are married with a sharia marriage. We have one child in the middle. We are now divorced and have not lived together for a year. Can I claim alimony from him even if I am legally married?

⚡️Answer;
Under the law, alimony is collected from the person listed on the child's birth certificate as the father if you have the child, and you can easily sue for alimony. If the child's birth certificate does not indicate your spouse in the place of the father, then you can first apply to the civil court to establish paternity of the child, and after the establishment of paternity, you can claim alimony from the person whose paternity was established.
