✅ Can those who are legally married also receive alimony?

Question; My husband and I are married in a sharia marriage. We have one child in the middle. We are now divorced and have not lived together for a year. Can I claim alimony from her even if I am legally married?

Answer; Under the law, alimony is collected from the person listed as the father on the child’s birth certificate if you have a child, and you can easily sue for alimony. If you do not have a spouse in the place of the father's name on the child's birth certificate, then you can first apply to the civil court to establish paternity of the child, and after the establishment of paternity, you can claim alimony from the person whose paternity was established.
