UzDaewooAuto is the leading and first enterprise in the automotive industry of Uzbekistan. The enterprise was established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan IAKarimov. Asaka Automobile Plant was built in 1994-1996 in the city of Asaka, Andijan region. The conveyors of the machines go to the welding shop. The work in this shop is mainly done by robots imported from Sweden. The robots are controlled by several working computers. The machines go to the painting shop, are painted, and then go to the assembly shop. In this shop, car parts are put in place. The finished cars are tested and taken out of the factory. There is a representative office for car sales and after-sales service in Tashkent. Regional offices and subsidiaries have been opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Minsk, Bishkek, Shymkent, Krasnodar.
